The terms that govern your use of the LAFABAH Houston website.

This website is operated by La Famille Bamiléké de Houston (LAFABAH), a nonprofit cultural association founded in 1986 and serving the Bamiléké community of the Houston, Texas metropolitan area. By using this site, you agree to the terms below.
About this site
We publish this site to share our mission, programs, events, and history with members, prospective members, partners, and supporters.
Event dates, program details, membership information, and fundraising figures are published in good faith but may change. Nothing here is professional, financial, or legal advice.
Membership and events
LAFABAH welcomes families, professionals, students, and youth connected to the Bamiléké community. Membership, governance, and participation are determined by the General Assembly, the elected Executive Committee, and the Board of Trustees — not by this website.
Event registration is handled on the WFT Connect portal. Registrations, payments, and cancellations made there are subject to that platform's own terms.
Donations
Donations support our cultural preservation, community support, and education and development work. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Gifts are generally non-refundable. If you donated in error or a payment looks wrong, contact us and we will do our best to put it right.
Content and photographs
The text, design, logo, and photographs on this site belong to LAFABAH and its members and contributors. You are welcome to view and share our pages, and to reference our work with credit.
Please do not reuse our photographs commercially, or in any way that misrepresents the association or the people pictured, without asking us first.
Acceptable use
Please use this site lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to disrupt it, gain unauthorised access to it, or use our contact and newsletter forms to send unlawful, abusive, or misleading material.
We may link to other organisations, partners, and platforms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of sites we do not operate.
Liability and governing law
This site is provided on an "as is" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, LAFABAH is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or from reliance on information published here.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. We may update them from time to time; the effective date above reflects the current version.
